Report: Major news networks refused to cover bombshell story about Obama protecting Hezbollah

Politico broke a bombshell story on Monday, reporting that the Obama administration sabotaged its own DEA’s efforts to fight Hezbollah, a terrorist group supported by Iran, in order to sign his prized nuclear deal with Iran.
Despite the gravity of the story, not many Americans went to bed informed of the actions of the previous administration.
Why not?
According to conservative media watchdog site, NewsBusters, the top three nightly news networks — NBC News, ABC News and CBS News — in addition to the two leading Spanish networks, Univision and Telemundo, refused to cover the story.
NewsBusters characterized the lack-of-coverage as a “blackout.” A search of the three English-speaking network’s websites also showed their news teams didn’t cover the story, either.
Fox News, on the other hand, covered the report extensively on its evening news show, “Special Report” with Bret Baier.
“A very serious charge tonight against the Obama administration. A bombshell report alleges the government deliberately sabotaged its own efforts to fight terrorist drug and money laundering operations,” Baier said around his show’s midpoint, before leading into the report with a Fox News correspondent.
What did the Politico report reveal?
The report revealed the Obama administration stifled a high-level DEA operation known as “Project Cassandra,” which was established to expose the connection between Latin American drug cartels and Hezbollah.
According to the report, the Obama administration “tamped down” on the DEA’s operation to advance the nuclear deal with Iran. The deal lifted economic sanctions on the Islamic Republic in return for a promise to suspend its nuclear program.

To thwart the DEA’s progress, the administration undermined agents’ attempts to prosecute high-level Hezbollah officials who had been under sealed indictments for years. Those actions allowed the drug running, weapons trafficking and terrorism to continue.
